A fun Saturday was had by all and led in part by the North Kansas City Hornets marching band. Here are a few students showing their “Irish” pride with some face paint and funny faces, but their real pride came from the marching and music in the parade.
The band played their favorite selections from the fall and the drumline showed off all their cadences from pep band to keep the beat. This short march through North Kansas City was one of the last marches of the season and a fun way for students to use their marching skills in weather that is a little more agreeable for their parade uniforms. The crowd was excited to have their local Hornets urging on the festivities in their purple and gold.
