KC CHIEFS FUNDRAISER
Scan tickets. Bank cash. Watch football.
Volunteering at a Chiefs home game earns $55 for your student's account plus a $20 food voucher — and it's a genuinely great time. Friends and family welcome (16+).

You scan tickets at your assigned gate. That's it. Chiefs staff train you when you arrive and stick around to help if anything comes up. Gates open, you scan, the game starts, you're done. Simple, fast, and kind of fun — especially when the crowd is hyped.
How much money goes to my student?
Each volunteer earns $55 deposited directly into your student's band, color guard, or orchestra account. One game alone covers the entire $50 annual band fee. Stack a few games and you're funding the spring trip.
You'll also receive a $20 food voucher redeemable at select concession stands in the stadium. Treat yourself — you earned it.
Who can volunteer?
Anyone 16 years of age or older. That means students, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors — anyone who wants to help your student bank funds. You don't have to be a band parent yourself.
When do I need to arrive?
Plan to arrive at the volunteer check-in tent 3½ to 4 hours before kickoff. Gates open to ticket holders a couple hours before game time and you'll scan from open until shortly after the game begins — then you're free to enjoy the rest of the day.
Where do I park and how do I get to the stadium?
Parking is free for volunteers. Park on the south side of Highway 40 near the old drive-in. From there, yellow school buses run continuously to drop you right next to the stadium tunnel — no hunting for a spot, no parking fees.
Where do I go when I get off the bus?
The bus drops you at the stadium tunnel. Before you cross the street, turn east (left) to the white tent — that's volunteer check-in. They'll give you a wristband and a vest.
Once you're geared up, cross the street. Security does a quick final check, then you follow the tunnel into the Chiefs concourse and head to your assigned gate. Easy to follow, and there are always people around to point you in the right direction.
What if I've never done this before?
No experience needed. When you reach your gate, Chiefs employees will walk you through exactly how the scanners work. There are also staff on-site throughout your shift to help if anything comes up. First-timers are completely welcome — most volunteers say it's much easier than they expected.
